Position: Business Development Engineer
Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia
As the Business Development Engineer at KLAY EnerSol, you will play a pivotal role in our business development efforts, driving sales and supporting our partner brands across both the Malaysian and regional markets. You will collaborate with the Business Development Manager to identify potential clients, deliver exceptional customer service, and contribute to the growth of our energy solutions business. While relevant experience is advantageous, we welcome individuals with a passion for sales and an eagerness to learn and grow in a supportive and inclusive environment.
- Sales Support:Assist the Business Development Manager in the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals. Provide excellent customer support, address inquiries, and build strong relationships with clients and partners.
- Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential customers, understand market trends, and stay informed about competitors and industry developments.
- Business Development: Contribute ideas and strategies to drive business growth. Collaborate with the team to develop marketing materials, sales presentations, and promotional campaigns.
- Support Partner Brands: Liaise with partner brands, such as 3M, Aspen Aerogels, and IGS, to coordinate joint sales efforts, leverage their resources, and maintain strong working relationships.
- Lead Generation: Assist in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through lead generation and prospecting activities.
- Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate sales records, prepare reports, and provide regular updates on sales performance and market insights.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a strong understanding of KLAY EnerSol’s products and services as well as partner brands’ offerings to effectively communicate their value propositions to customers.
- Education: A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience: While prior experience in sales or a similar field is a plus, we are open to hiring enthusiastic individuals with little to no experience, who demonstrate strong potential and a willingness to learn.
- Language: Proficiency in English is essential. Knowledge of Mandarin is an added advantage.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
- Team Player: A collaborative and positive attitude with a passion for working in a team-oriented environment.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using CRM software, Microsoft Office, and other sales-related tools.
- Salary: RM3500 – RM7000 per month with additional performance-based incentives.
