Introduction to Pyrogel® XTE and Pyrogel® HPS

Pyrogel® XTE and Pyrogel® HPS are the most effective high temperature insulation material in the industry. Its low thermal conductivity of any known solid which makes Pyrogel® the leader for industrial and marine insulation. Pyrogel®XTE is available in 5mm & 10mm blankets and Pyrogel® HPS is available in 10mm blankets.

Pyrogel® insulation is easily cut and shaped to complex equipment, tight curvatures, and spaces with restricted access.


Reduced material volume, high packing density, and low scrap rates reduces shipping volumes.


Unlike rigid pre-forms such as pipe cover or board, the same Pyrogel® blanket can be kitted to fit any shape or design.


Aspen Aerogel’s high-temperature insulation is landfill disposable, shot-free, with no respirable fiber content.
