Introduction to Pyrogel® XTF

Pyrogel® XTF is a high-temperature blanket insulation, engineered by incorporating silica aerogel and reinforced with a non-woven high-temperature batting. Its unique properties enable it to be both a passive fire protection (PFP) and thermal insulation blanket suitable for all industries where fire protection and thermal insulation are required simultaneously.

Passive Fire Protection – Pyrogel® XTF

Pyrogel® XTF is commonly selected for its ability to provide improved thermal performance with reduced thickness and excellent passive fire protection properties conforming to UL 1709 testing standards.

Pyrogel® XTF delivers better thermal performance, improved resilience and faster installation time than other competing insulation systems used in industrial fire insulation applications today. Pyrogel®’s hydrophobic nature also minimizes Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI) substantially.

Could easily be cut just by using a pair of scissors and be fitted to complex shapes, tight curvatures, and spaces with restricted access.

PHYSICALLY ROBUST AND IMPACT RESISTANT

Soft and flexible but with excellent springback, Pyrogel® XTF recovers its thermal performance even after compression.
